Robert - I always understood that the Bee Gees wrote, produced and did back up. Gavin suggested that someone do a remake of this video shot for shot. Would you like to lip sync it and I film and edit it?
Long time, but couldn't help but comment on this post. I love this song. And the video is perfect 70s glossed up kitch. If anyone can lightly rock that pelvis it's Samantha Sang.
m00nchild - Hey! Welcome back. We've missed you. Yes, every move of hers is classic. My favorite is where she puts her hand on her hip, suddenly turns and then the twins appear.
Location: San Francisco, California, United States
JunkThief is your typical Gallic Jew boy born on the Great Plains, went to Gotham and Ouagadougou and Kathmandu before settling in San Francisco's Mission District. Now he searches the dark alleys of that city to find good conversation, Weimar culture and (but of course) the perfect door knob.

Wait a minute. I've always thought that Bee Gees sang the backup to this?! No? I'm so confused. I want her hair. But in black! :-)
Owait, maybe Bee Gees did a remake?
I love this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3eiJS6evUY
Okay, I'll go now! *poof*

I'm a brave man, but not that brave!! haha! Oright, it'll rain tomorrow and Wednesday down here in the LA area. SF too?
Robert - I'm impressed that they put Vaseline on her lips and the camera lens. Oh, come on, be brave...
Yes, MAJOR rain here tomorrow -- up to 6-8 inches in some places and 40-70 mph winds. Oy.
I actually just bought this song from iTunes!
(And then I listened to it, and thought, "Why?")
Steve - And now you can imagine these visuals while you listen to it.
I dunno -- I'm not sure I can handle those head-spinning special effects!
Steve - They must have used 20 gallons of Vaseline on her lips and the lens.
OMG! Could she BE any more graceful in her movements? Or more on fire with emotion?
Gary - Next time I am in NYC, I want to see you or Joy recreate this video shot for shot.
