Just Get On With It
I've been watching episodes of Mad Men, Season Two back to back, absorbing an era when people dressed incredibly well, lived and played hard, died by the time they were 62, kept their emotions to themselves, and did not go to 12-step programs or at least did not talk about them in public. If something horrible happened in their lives they would act as if it never occurred and would just get on with it. Has our society advanced? Some questions don't need to be answered.Labels: 1960s, advertising., Mad Men, Manhattan
