In These Uncertain Times...
...the view from my front window, the berries on the trees the only sign of autumn in my immediate world, I take comfort and unease in remembering the transient nature of everything, everyone and every emotion. And I take solace in knowing that I planted these trees ten years ago after two others died.

the view out your window looks eerily like my neighborhood!
Lora - I think our blogs and neighborhoods are twins separated by red states.
This is lovely. We woke up this morning to four inches of snow. And all the trees are bare.
Lora's neighborhood and the Mission are quite similar, I agree. :)
Jill - I like a little snow but not a lot. Someday we three will meet up. I'd love to see my "sister neighborhood" in Philly.
Well, I'm slightly eerified - I just went back to my neighborhood yesterday & took a photo of a tree which is slowly uprooting some asphalt - this to comfort myself for the fact that some trees were cut down in my immediate vicinity. Meditation on transience in combination with flora gos with autumn, I guess -
ArtSparker - Well, we had to replace some concrete this year, and the trees may have been part of the problem.
