Interactive Monday - And Where Do You Blog?
Since my pantry shot got such an enthusiastic reaction, I thought I'd pull the camera back a bit and show this view of where I find myself increasingly spending my blogging time. Since I work from home, I try to keep my paid work station free of the blogging, vlogging, personal email distractions. So I tend to flit around the house with the VAIO but find myself increasingly ending up here on the bar stool that I bought after the holidays with a gift card from my sister. The kitchen has some of the best light in the flat and speakers to the system where I can stream Airtunes. It's a wild, wild, wild, wild wireless world, so this seems like a logical spot to blog.
What's your blog station look like? Post a link in comments if you are so inclined so others can be inspired by your example.

I love your blogging nook. red walls are very stimulating - in fact that red looks like the very red I used on my kitchen in connecticut. here on the north coast my living room is red, but it's more of a paprika color. I'm very fond of it. since I have yet to get a laptop (and go wireless) I'm pretty fixed as to where I blog. I blog in my home office a picture of my workspace can be found on my january 7th post on the mouse (unfortunately I don't know how to post a link). curious minds who just need to know what kimy's (aka mouse) space looks like can pop over! unfortunately, unlike neat and tidy junk thief, my home office is often quite a mess with piles of papers, books and sleeping animals about. but it is cozy!!
Kimy - My intent for the walls was for more of a butterscotch to paprika, but they came out more red. That's fine, but colors always seem a bit different once they hit the walls.
Your spot looks cozy. (The trick to links is to compose your comment as a post in your own blog and then copy the full html over into comments. Or at least that's how I've been able to do it.)
I'm not posting a picture of where I do most of my blogging from, but I will say that it's the same place that I do a lot of my guitar playing.
Dave - Thanks for exercising restraint by not posting that photo. I guess you are able to multi-task like LBJ who often did business in the same spot where he was able to take a call from the Speaker of the House while answering the call of nature.
I blog from work, and my room, but I like your little nook as Kimy says.
I may take pics of my places sometime soon.
May.
WAT - I think like 90% of my frequent readers, you blog at work. Hmm...
I look forward to those maybe photos.
Mmmm, nice canisters. I'm getting to your pantry post...
Funny, there's something in your photo that resembles a banana hammock or banana gallows, or whatever one calls those things. I thought they existed only in the pages of Crate & Barrel catalogs, but now I know they populate the real world too.
I may post a link to my blog-writing location, but you first need to promise not to make use of our state's Whistleblower Policy which ferrets out unethical public employees...
Joe - I've had my banana gallows for years, but I honestly can't recall where they came from. Egads, I hope my place doesn't look like a Crate & Barrel catalog or, even worse, the "real world". Definitely post your blogging venue; your secret's safe with me.
