JunkThief is your typical Gallic Jew boy born on the Great Plains, went to Gotham and Ouagadougou and Kathmandu before settling in San Francisco's Mission District. Now he searches the dark alleys of that city to find good conversation, Weimar culture and (but of course) the perfect door knob.

About a 7. I like them though. I'm looking to get those real thick black nerdy ones to make me look like a desirable attractive bookworm
WAT - The Latina that fitted me kept raving "They're French! They're French." Having done the bookworm look for many, many years I hope these help me pull off the look of being an expert on the films of Godard and Malle. (As if I'm not!)
Two. They're actually quite stylish, and not in that "hip-nerd" way that, let's face it, hasn't been fresh since the Clintons left the White House.
Huntington - Phew, thanks. I was fearing that someone might say "Oh, wow, those look like a dot.com nerd" or "Doesn't Elvis Costello have the same style". (Not that I don't love EC, mind you.)
I know nothing about nerds or what they wear. (I'm not even that cool.) But I heart your new specs.
Emily - Thanks. I think true nerd specs are supposed to be darker and bigger. Plus, they're French. Ooh la la!

not nerdy at all...kudos to whoever said art & architecture - that's what these specs say! you'll be all set for the next architectural digest spread - ascot - check, hipster frames - check....
french frames are very nice! ooo la la!
Mouse - Now provided I don't slip and clean them with sandpaper or something.
Depends on your own definition of nerd-but I think they're most becoming. :)
