AW. Little kitty went to cat heaven. Hey, u gave him a great long life. There's always more animal friends out there waiting to brighten your day Junky who would love your home.
Oh my gosh! I realize it might be hard to see right now, but you had a wonderful gift in a companion whose life spanned almost two decades. I hope that you're left only with the wonderful memories of that beautiful cat and the joys being a pet owner brings.
Southern Boy - What he gave me over 20 years is stronger than the loss of his physical presence. He and his brother, who passed on two years ago, greatly enriched my life.

JunkThief is your typical Gallic Jew boy born on the Great Plains, went to Gotham and Ouagadougou and Kathmandu before settling in San Francisco's Mission District. Now he searches the dark alleys of that city to find good conversation, Weimar culture and (but of course) the perfect door knob.

Bunter looks more than 6 days old. I'm not sure if you meant 2008 for the last date and if that is so he was 19 years old. Rest in Peace Bunter.
Gary - 19 years, 6 days. Corrected.
:(
Emily - Thanks. I will write more soon. Saying good bye to a companion of nearly two decades is hard, but it was a perfect farewell.
Ah, shit. Sorry.
Rich - Thanks. I'm trying not to listen to Elvis Costello singing "This House Is Empty Now" too much.

WAT - I'm sure that will happen, but I'm in no rush. Since this companion was with me 20 years, it's not quite like replacing a worn out bath mat.
Condolences, my friend.
My Ice-T and Eames send feline hugs, as well.
ER - He spent a few years in Oklahoma as well as New York, Oregon and (mostly) California. Great names for your furry ones by the way.
Oh no,
I'm so sorry to hear this.
He was quite handsome.
Jason - Thanks. He kept his looks right up to the end despite devastating health challenges. I'll write more soon.
I'm sorry.
Gavin - Thanks. He left a huge paw print on my heart.
