Wow. I had no idea that even existed. Strange to hear the generally benign voice of both Kermit and Ernie emitting from that kinda skinny lump thing, shortly before something awful happens to the Frank Oz lump thing.
What's the rest of the story? Was the campaign a success, or was the rest of the nation as horrifed as me?
Rich - Even some of the early Sesame Street episodes were not PC by current standards, but these commercial are really dark. I need to research further. They also had the La Choy Dragon, and Cookie Monster was spokes-spook for Munchos.
