Theme Thursday: Hats

Theme Thursday prompt: HATS. Check the rest of them here.

Hats. Didn't we just write about them? Well, yes, we did, in this post. But we're back and have plenty of hats to write about.
Half height Top Hat

And we were recently shocked to learn that some of our fellow bloggers can name only two or three men's hats. So we're here to promote greater hat literacy.
Pork Pie Hat

Men's millinery famously took a blow 49 years ago with the Inauguration of John F. Kennedy who opted not to be sworn in with a top hat. (A sad day in our book.) We are pleased that the hat has slowly been making a comeback.
Fiddler Hat, very close in design to Greek Fishing Hat

Though we may never see the return to the heyday of great fedoras and perfect topcoats, at least one of the by products of Mad Men has been a rise in popularity of appropriate wearing of men's hats again. A fedora with ratty jeans and a skateboard? Please!

We don't have the time and space to give a full inventory of the hats here at the JunkPlex, but we thought we'd show you the tip of the iceberg.

Love-love your collection of hats, Mr. Thief. Do you know Billy Collins' poem Death of the Hat? You'd like it.

Willow - I don't know that Collins poem but will check it out.

Brian - I'm fond of it too. It's a bit harder to find.

Bachelor - I'm not sure I make the hats, or at least I certainly can't literally make one with needle and thread.

Mouse - A nice collection you have too. I like Frank, but also Phranc.

I like that you have a different background (almost)for every hat. The pork pie hat really doe make you look like a thief...a cat burglar.

mouse - For all her tough girl veneer, Phranc has such a pure, gentle voice that I love.

Yes to Tupperware. Everyone has memories of it -- both good and bad.
