Piñata Anticipation

I know most of my neighbors with the exception of this place where a piñata has been hanging for at least three weeks. Since I've never seen anyone under the age of 35 there, I'm curious what its purpose is intended to be or if pieces of candy will come flying through the junipers soon.
It does remind me of an experience of an ex who works with mentally challenged adults who had a Barney piñata that no one could hit. After they started bruising each other with the stick, he opted to bash it open himself, and they were in tears for the rest of the day because Barney had died. None of them wanted to eat the candy since they knew it had once been part of Barney's vital organs.

Hey, pinatas aren't just for kids, you know. We had one for my birthday two years ago and it was full of porn and drink tokens for a French Quarter bar. And candy.

Not a bad idea. Are you suggesting that it might be good to have porn and drink tokens for the mentally challenged adults? I know I'd sure put them to good use.

Aaaaa, fun with the developementally disabled. There is a long story here about a red-head and her adventures with a teenager named Amy, but maybe that should be a post of my own. Remind me about it if you don't see it in the next few days.
