Further Strolling in My Neighborhood

One of my favorite churches, Our Lady of the Whiz Burger.
Could this be the perfect door knob?
Newly added to the window at X-21 Modern.

I was in X-21 two weeks ago and when asking about a pretty little settee, the snot behind the counter was Not Nice. They are now officially off my list. Sorry, it's true.

That's generally been my experience there too. I just enjoy looking in their windows.

I like the sculpture at X-21. I used to go in there in the "old days" i think before the current owner. This was like...1975.

Gavin - My knob's so hot it's shooting out sun rays.

Bryce - 1975? I would have been to small to peek into the window.

Jill - Guapo? Donde es el Guapo. Mi gusto los guapos.

X-21 is the strangest and most wonderfully perplexing collection of stylish expensive junk in the whole city. I never fail to avoid it while walking on Valencia.

But I don't go inside. I asked someone inside about the pricing once and I was deep-frozen by the attitude.

JDZM - You're always welcome to join me on a jaunt - virtually or physically.

m00nchild - I'm with you on your take on X-21. Hey, I can go get a lot of the same crap at Alemany Flea Market too at .01% of what they charge. Way too much attitude and overpricing there. I got scolded by a staffer once for taking pictures of their window which only inspires me to do it more. I'll hand it to them for doing some good window theater, but their customer service skills suck.
