Just STOP
Hearing her on Fresh Air yesterday, Tracey Ullman almost lured me into getting cable again, but I prefer to make my own shows more than watching others in general. But Tracey is on exception that makes me want to just sit down and watch.

I love her. It should be available on DVD eventually. Everything else is.
Scot - Indeed it will, and, indeed, I will come to own it when it's available with (I hope!) extra features.
darn I knew there was something on fresh air I wanted to hear....thank goodness for streaming archives (and dvds!)
Mouse - It's definitely worth checking out. She does much more than her humor and ventures into headier, heavy topics such as the challenges of being a female comic, witnessing her dad die from a heart attack at age six and why she chose to became a U.S. citizen (but also maintain her British citizenship).
I got to see the entire first season. It's the most hilarious thing she's done. It's really biting too. There's one sketched where there's a mutiny on a Jet Blue plane that's been sitting on the runway for 12 hours. lol.
Anon. - Riot on Jet Blue! How timely with the passenger bill of rights coming forward. I haven't been able to find any of the clips of her as Nancy Pelosi but would love to see that. The best part on Fresh Air was her description of Renee Zelwiger's baby voice and eternally half closed eyes and big lashes that would make her ideal for playing Lambhop in a movie of the life of Sherri Lewis.
Yes, just three more days before it airs on Showtime. I'm so glad I switched over to that channel. It has become the "New" HBO
CFB - Don't you want to host a screening party? Actually I'll be in San Diego then, so maybe I'll luck out and have it in my room.
Here's a good article on Tracey, copy & paste:

WAT - Thanks for sharing the link
Tracey rocks!
Gary - ...and rolls. What's more, "They Don't Know About Us"!

Perhaps you could do your own versions of Tracey's characters?
Maybe Kay?
Jason - Oh, gosh, I hope I'm not as pathetic as Kay. Ruby Romaine and Sidney Cross are two of my favorites I saw an interview with Carole Migden on TV the other night and thought, "Oh, my gosh it's Ms. Cross!"
so good it bears repeating...
Gary - Indeed.
