
Having only recently been to
West Portal it seems the place also gained the interest of a motorist who somehow didn't understand those tracks going into the tunnel are for MUNI cars not non-rail cars
as reported by SF Weekly and other sources.

But the tunnel looks so inviting. They need to paint warning stripes on the ground or a BIG sign shaped like a martini glass that says "No Cars past this point"

WAT - Naw, drivers were crazy here when they paid $3 too.
You have to admit it would be a quick, direct route to the east side of town.
