This Holiday Weekend
We're getting rid of the BART train carpet (right) that came with my flat and I've despised since buying it in 1998. Under which is this kinda groovy but severely damaged mid-century linoleum (left).
So that the finished floor will look like this. (I got an early start and am about 15% done.)
Meanwhile, her ladyship is looking on time to time and may get around to reading that book of Kafka on the right.

that carpet must go....eh gads....
inch by inch, things are a cinch....good luck with the finished floor - the 15% looks marvelous.
speaking of looking marvelous, her ladyship is the sweetest!
happy thanksgiving! xxxxmouse
Mouse - A decade of cat and other smells will not be missed with the carpet's departure.
Is she so smart that she's able to wrap herself up in the blanket like that? I wouldn't mind napping on a divan while looking on from time to time as someone does all the chores around the house. Maybe I should work on that....
oh she knows how to work it, doesn't she? Redo these floors whilst I nap, human! ;)
Joe - She actually did get a little extra help to be wrapped so completely but can manage to get under any blanket in a flash. Come on up, and I'll wrap you in a blanket and give you some coco in the chair next to her while I work away.
Joy - Did someone say diva?
Happy Thanksgiving! There is always so much to be thankful for and this year as well.
Gary - Even with the global doom and gloom, I am feeling thankful for many things this year. Meeting all my great blogger friends in New York is high on that list.
