Oh my.. this is soo funny! I've never heard of her, but she looks familiar. Realy funny! (still giggling here)
Totie seems to be forgotten by pop culture. Since she died in 1978, few people under 40 have ever heard of her. Without her, there probably never would have been a Roseanne, Margaret Cho or countless other female comics we now take for granted.
Holy shit! I remember her from Merv Griffin when I was a small child.
