Dawning Down the Street

These sentiments on a building a block south of me are worth embracing in a post-Falwell America. (Dare we recycle, repurpose and retool "It's morning in America"?) Saying it's a new day is as absurd as the Administration's celebrating the latest All Qaeda operative being captured. It's one apple gone from a huge, rotting barrel. But it's reason to think of rising up, not being numb.
