Just yesterday we were worrying about shootings in the 'hood, and this morning there is word of a bomb threat just a couple of blocks away. Dern, I really should have taken that letter from Jesus a little more seriously.Labels: bombs, The Mission, violence

I'm overdue for a blog post on nuclear weapons/war. Something so strangely fascinating about those mushroom clouds. Ever seen TRINITY, that nuke movie narrated by William Shatner?
EERIE, but so fascinating.
WAT - No mushroom clouds or booming in my neighborhood yet. I actually saw William Shatner speak once at an event in a Woodside mansion. Yes, eerie!
