Un peu plus Bardot - Contact

Why has she been speaking to me so strongly lately? Her musical career is grossly under appreciated in the States. This clip proves that she was the bridge between Fritz Lang's Metropolis and Devo.

I'm very strangely in love with this song, even though I find it weird and annoying at the same time. I only first became aware of it when it was released by (don't laugh) Belinda Carlisle on a recent album of chansons.

I think an homage to "Bonnie et Clyde" is in order.

Joe - Bardot managed to find some of the perfect tunes to pair with her limited vocal range. This and "Harley Davidson" have an unusual, mechanical sound instead of a more sultry, chanteuse approach. I agree on the "Bonnie et Clyde" homage, but by whom?

Thank you for posting this. Some very inspirational work. It is nice to see something that was actually designed and not simply copied.

I say great work.
