Twelve Stars Rising from the East

My cold has prevented me from posting much the past few days, and Bow has been too busy nursing me to take over the blog. I am slowly rising from the dead.

Nothing helps raise my spirits more than this, my favorite renditions of one of my favorite holiday songs. It isn't the holidays without '80 synth pop repurposed on traditional Asian instruments by lovely, talented young women.

Jill - I'm slowly recovering but still not quite there. Nice notes from friends help with the recovery.

I love that song - it gets stuck in my head perpetually... however I have never heard it performed *quite* this way. Leave it to you to find this stuff!!! :)

Joy - The 12 Girls Band has an entire Christmas album that is mainly pop holiday songs. Their take on Happy X-mas - The War is Over is also pretty cool.
