Goodbye to Blueberry Pie!

Three days in Seattle were groovy. Eighteen months is the longest time between visits over the past 25 years. It falls into the category of cities where I always feel there's a part of me there or that I'll live there someday. Hope you enjoy these final views.

Makes me want to sing:
"Bye, bye Miss Blueberry Pie;
Would rather take the ferry,
but my plane's in the sky;
The Pink Elephant Wash,
and the Dick's Drive-In guy;
I'll see again befo-ore I die."

Jill - Thanks. Funny that in all my past trips to Seattle I never took time to get photos. So it was like a first trip that way.

Scot - A great lyric. You've got real flair!

I too love seattle (and other pnw towns and cities) for the longest time I made a pilgrimage at least once a year and for the 3 yrs e was living in bellingham, I averaged two trips a year. definitely my bioregion.

I had hoped for a trip this june but now have to wait until september there are no ffm seats (at the 25000 mile level) available in june, july or august - just too popular!! zut, zut, zut!!

love the slide shows - as usual!!

Kim - Bellingham is a great town too. What's the little district on the edge of it? Fairhaven? And, of course, the gorgeous Chuckanut Drive. I've been there many times but not this trip.

yep fairhaven. fair home to so many wonderful little places eo eat - since you are familiar with b'ham and fairhaven you undoubtedly have been to 3 of my favorite little spots: colophon bookstore and cafe (GREAT SOUPS), le chat noir, and pepper sisters.... my mind goes right to where the food is! of course I haven't been back to b'ham since 2000 but I expect all these places still exist. definitely have to get up there in the fall on my pnw 'tour' hitting all the top spots from eugene to vancouver bc. lots of buds to mooch off of!

is there any place you haven't been! xxxxkermie
