Guru Is in the House
A victim of the foreclosure crisis, Guru arrived at the JunkPlex this afternoon. An on trial foster dog for up to three weeks.
Stay tuned...
...and weigh in on your thoughts for next steps.
UPDATE: My sister reminded me Friday that Guru arrived on what would have been my parents' 60th wedding anniversary. Prophetic?

AW! On trial? No, no, no. He stays.
WAT - So far, I agree. The rescue group people are excellent support. The main issue will be care when I travel, but they've offered options on that. Also, he's a bit overweight, but we've got a plan on that. He's AKC registered and has the lines of a dog show champion.
He is lean and handsome.
Huntington - Big boned, perhaps, but definitely handsome.
YEAH... happy to hear he's going to stay....but I think you still have to diversify and bring in a cat....dogs love having a cat buddy to hang with when the human isn't at home.....
there's always ways to get travel coverage ----
Mouse - When Bunter passed on, I said that I'd wait a while before getting another pet an knew that another cat could never replace him. Basenjis really aren't dogs, they're sort of outer space aliens.
