AHAHAHAHAH!

Mel Brooks is a comic genius. I love him and many of his movies. He's getting up there in age the poor dude, and I was soooooooo sad for him when Anne died not too many years ago.

God bless ya Mel.

WAT - Apparently the musical version of "Young Frankenstein" is less than great, but his best stuff still makes me laugh. I need to watch "High Anxiety" again after all these years.

It was always touching to see him and Anne together. They seemed like a couple that really dug each other right up to the end.

Jason - I always kinda dug this song too, in its wacky, silly way. I was pleased to find it again after all these years.

I like the Lombard one a little better but I'm with you when you say it is touching to see he and Anne together. Charles Durning turns in a pre- "eveningshade" post "whorehouse" performance that is over the top.

Gavin - I really don't remember the movie itself and think this song wasn't even in it but was just a promotion. Charles Durning, when he's on spot, can be amazing.
