Please Don't Hate Me
Just because it's like a perfect spring day in early February in the Mission.
Talking to people in Cleveland, New York and Kansas City today, they were all furious that I have been seeing views like this out my front window.
And my much ballyhooed greenhouse keeps evolving. I already have my eyes on two more new ones.

It's 13 degrees in Washington DC, but I don't hate you - or San Francisco - for being so gorgeous during February. I remember the plum tree blossoms and that feeling of quickening that comes in spring there.
I'm so happy for you that you're noticing and enjoying the early San Francisco spring. Enjoy it!!
I won't hate you if you promise not to hate me for driving with my top down on Friday with temps in the mid 70's. I felt oh so "LA"
Reya - Well, it could all change suddenly, but it's good news that the rain has lifted and our lakes are nearly at capacity.
Scot - Well, I doubt L.A. would be in the envy group except when it's boiling there in the summer and foggy here.
Knowing I will likely be living in NYC by this time next year is making LOVE the mild New Orleans winter SO much! You gotta enjoy things while you got 'em! Right?
Well, I was doing all right in not hating you until that third photo there.
I mean just flaunt those mushrooms in my face, why don't you?
It's beautiful down here In Los Angeles too of course, just as Scot has mentioned above.
Bryan - It's all relative. When I lived in New York I spent a lot of time back and forth going to Montreal. Going there made Manhattan in January feel like the balmy south.
Jason - The mushrooms are ceramic if that helps.
WAT - Well, yes it is L.A.
Birds of paradise in February? I am green with envy.
Jill - It's easy to forget I live in eco-paradise.
